SecureServe is a bilingual, multi-channel service delivery platform that consists of the Call Centre and the Internet.

The information you need, when you need it, the way you want it - that is the philosophy behind SecureServe.

We've got you covered with 24 hour a day, seven-day a week access to relevant, reliable and secure benefit plan information at your fingertips. Technologically innovative, SecureServe permits you authorized access to detailed benefits information and data.

Plan Members can use SecureServe to find out when their last claim was paid, how much dental coverage they have left or whether or not a particular drug is covered under their health and dental plan - virtually 24-hours- a- day, seven- days- a-week.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.   I forgot my password. Who can help me?
If you cannot remember your password, you can request to have your password emailed to you, or you can reset your password via the Hint Question/Answer setup. Please refer to the Plan Member Login screen and click the Forgot Your Password? link.

2.   Can I change my password?
You can change your password at any time, by clicking on the Change Personal Profile link from the Plan Member Menu screen once you have successfully logged in to SecureServe. Please ensure your new password is between 8-12 characters and contains both uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and/or symbols. As well, it cannot be the same as your previous passwords.

3.   What if I have any technical questions?
We will not be able to assist you with technical-related questions. Questions about your browser or personal computer should be directed to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or your personal computer vendor.

4.   What are the technical site requirements for SecureServe?
To access SecureServe, you must have the following:

  • access to the Internet, using a 56 kbs modem (modem speed recommended, but not required); and
  • a web browser with 128 bit encryption:
    • Microsoft Internet Explorer (4.0, 5.0 or 5.5)
    • Netscape Navigator (4.08, 4.77 - we do not currently support 6.x or greater).

Plan Member Registration:

Can't remember the last time you went to the dentist? Unsure of the amount of coverage under your plan for practitioner services? Register with SecureServe and you will have instant access to your benefit and claims questions.

You can register with SecureServe online immediately, provided you are a member of a Manulife Financial benefit plan. All you need is your Group/Plan Number and your Subscriber/Member or Identification Number found on your health benefit card.

  1. Select the Register for First Time Use link.
  2. Enter your Group/Plan Number and Subscriber/Member or Identification Number (please refer to your health benefit card) and the required personal information.
  3. If the information cannot be validated, you will be required to send in a change of enrolment form or modify the information on your next claim submission.
  4. If the information is validated your temporary password will be mailed to either your home address or email address (if we have it on file).

Services Offered

With the enhanced online features of SecureServe you will be able to find answers to your specific benefit, claims and customer service inquiries for you and your family members. By accessing SecureServe you will be able to track the activities of your benefit plan. Specifically, SecureServe will give you access to:

  • Our expanded claims inquiry tool that allows you access to your claims activity for the past twelve months, including payment information, benefit maximums and links to booklets.
  • Enhanced benefit eligibility features that include access to a full overview of your benefits, specific to you, the user. Capabilities include the ability to determine what benefits that you are eligible for, using the current date.
  • Detailed information about specific benefits by clicking on benefit links and the ability to conduct benefit searches by Drug Identification Number, Procedure codes or via an alphabetical drop-down menu.
  • Benefit details including dollar maximums, frequency of maximums, deductibles, co-pays, requirement of pre-determinations, and voluntary/mandatory generic drugs.
